AROUND BRITAIN’S COAST (ABC) MOTORCYCLE TRIP

I plan to motorcycle ride around the coastline of Britain using roads and bye-ways, keeping as close to the coast as possible. The trip will be in aid of three charities. I will be riding a BMW 700 GS.   The ride will take about 3-4 weeks and is between 4-5000 miles. I will be setting off from Poole Quay on the Tuesday 9th June 2015 during the Poole Quay Bike Night and heading clockwise.

The charities are the Royal Artillery Charitable Fund, The Scars of War which researches PTSD at Oxford University and The Bike Experience, which gives disabled people the chance to ride motorbikes.

On the way around I will meet up with Royal Artillery Association Branches that are on the coast. I will also visit the usual landmarks and any unusual ones!

En route I will be camping and stopping at friends/family and if needs be, B&Bs. If anyone wants to join me for any part of the trip they are more than welcome.

The trip will be recorded by video and pictures via Facebook, Instagram & a blog website.
