Field of Remembrance

Prince Harry joined his grandfather Prince Philip and other dignitaries, serving soldiers and veterans to pay tribute to the fallen at Westminster Abbey's Field of Remembrance. Prince Philip and Prince Harry placed crosses to add to 100,000 planted by the Royal British Legion to mark remembrance week.

 

       

 

WO1 Matt Norman from the Royal Regiment of Artillery was joined by Lt Col (Retd) I A Vere Nicoll MBE of the Royal Artillery Charitable Fund.

 

 

         

 

WO1 Matt Norman commented:

 

‘I have never been to such an occasion in my career and was very moved by the amount of veterans andserving soldiers that have gathered tocommemoratethe soldiers that sacrificed so much.

It was also a great honour to meet HRH Prince Harry and HRH Prince Phillip.’
