This was the RAA in Germany at its best! An excellent opportunity for our members in Germany to celebrate RA300 and they did it in style.  The celebrations began with a families’ afternoon full of fun and games for the children. 

During the evening RAA branch certificates for outstanding service were presented to Michael & Elke Bridgeman, Dave & Kath Tyer, Peter Mulholland, Paul & Diana Insul and Alec & Uirike Cripps.

The presentations were made by Allan Solly, the RAA’s Membership Secretary who, accompanied by his wife Cath, had travelled from Larkhill to attend the event.  Also present were WO2 Keith Tybus and SSgt Scott Curwen, both representatives from 26 Regt RA with whom the association is affiliated.

 The whole event was organised impeccably by Dave Tyer supported by his wife Katrin and daughter Bianca who also managed the bar and served up the perfect pommes frites.

The North Germany Branch RAA welcomes ex service personnel from any arm or corps and provides a lifeline to local British ex service personnel and their families and is an excellent place for them to socialise.
