On Artillery Day, 26th May 2021 at the dedication of the Campbell VC Officers’ Mess and Henry VC Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess in Larkhill, SSgt K Harkness, 19 Regiment Royal Artillery was presented with the Mansergh Memorial Award by the Master Gunner St James’s Park and the Chairman of the Royal Artillery Association.

The Mansergh Memorial Award is awarded for act of outstanding bravery or special achievements by an individual, which have not been recognised by another award or commendation. SSgt Harkness was selected for the Award for his outstanding contribution as a volunteer first responder with the South Central Ambulance Service.
