Meet your new team #RACF

Posted 31/01/18

Having grown up being part of the Army family a pioneer’s daughter and now a Gunner’s wife, the Regimental family ethos has always been dear to me. After graduation I joined the MOD working with the American Air Force moving onto casework at Navy Command. My husband’s posting led me into a finance role within ARTD as the Royal School of Artillery’s budget manger.

The opportunity to work within RHQ came up and I couldn’t wait, I was offered a wonderful opportunity to be part of a brilliant Charity, The RACF. Having Sandra and Christine by my side we all bring a wealth of knowledge from housing, welfare, finance and Human Resources. Together we reach out and support all officers and soldiers and their dependants whether serving or retired widowed or divorced who are in need.

The team’s energy, enthusiasm and willingness to try new things have not gone unnoticed and already we have made a big impact. I’m excited to see what lies ahead in the road to helping our Gunner family.

 Mrs Sarah-Jane Hatt, Welfare Secretary

In the Admin Team we have Sandra Stringfellow the Welfare Assistant and Christine Neate the Welfare Clerk. Sandra joined the team in June 2017. She came from an RA Welfare background working with the Sharp Hall Welfare Team in Larkhill supporting 32 Regt RA and 47 Regt RA so Sandra had the perfect background to join the team bringing cold face experience. Christine has been in post since May 2013 and is the glue that holds the new team together. Before joining the Welfare team Christine worked for 6 years within the Charity’s finance office so has been with the Charity over 10 years.
