Remembrance Sunday 2020

Posted 07/11/20

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a scaled down National Royal Artillery Ceremony of Remembrance will take place at the Royal Artillery Memorial at Hyde Park Corner at 11am today.  The Master Gunner St James’s Park supported by the Regimental Colonel and the Chairman of the Royal Artillery Association will represent the Royal Regiment. A short ceremony will be conducted by the Gunner Padre and the last post played by the Trumpet Major from the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery. Wreaths will be laid on behalf of serving and veteran communities.  Whilst the event will not be live streamed, photographs and footage of the ceremony will be posted on social media in due course. However, in the interim, you may like to watch the following video which provides an overview of the history of the Royal Artillery Memorial along with footage of previous years.
