St Barbara's Day Service - 3 December 2023 

St Barbara’s Day will take place on 3rd December 2023 at the Royal Garrison Church of St Alban with St Barbara.      

The Church Service will commence at 1100 hrs and everyone is requested to be seated by 1050 hrs.  Standard Bearers must arrive at the church and be ready for a briefing at 1000hrs and formed up at 1045hrs.   

A carvery lunch will be served at 1230 hrs in the Royal Artillery Mess (Officers’ Mess).  Given the occasion of a Church Service, followed by lunch in the Officers’ Mess, please dress appropriately.  

Please complete and return the booking form regarding St Barbara’s Day Service and note we require vehicle details of each vehicle travelling to the event and the full names of those attending as per their Photo ID, eg Caroline Thoburn instead of Cas Thoburn.   Please remember everyone has to arrive with PHOTO ID to gain access onto Camp where parking will be available.  

Important:

• PHOTO ID is required to gain access to parking and the Royal Artillery Mess.
• Branches are requested to complete the booking form and payment by 17th November 2023. 

Travel Subsidy: Branches are reminded that a travel subsidy is available only for RAA Branches that travel by coach or minibus.  Invoices from your coach companies must be received at Artillery House by the 5 January 2024.

Accommodation Subsidy:. If required, all Standard Bearers will be refunded 90% of one night accommodation on receipt of hotel invoice/receipt.

Lastly, your Branch return is due by 17th NOVEMBER 2023 at the latest.  Places are limited, please send your return and payment (£17.50 pp) soonest.
