A wonderful weekend spent in the company of old friends and comrades. 200 plus for dinner Sat and almost as many for the friday evening get together. many stories told and retold and events caught up with. There were 8 members of the serving Bty present, lead by their BC, Sqn Ldr Dave Bates - I still find it so odd refering to a Sqn Ldr as Battery Commander? - and to say we made a lasting impression on them is an understatement. Which is all to the good because we are looking to them as future members of the OCA. I think they enjoyed themselves and I hope we dispelled the impression of OCAs as being "a bunch of old farts reliving their youth". Roll on 2016 and in the meantime I hope we can foster stronger links with the Bty.
