A Christmas Message from The Venerable Stephen Robbins CB

Posted 22/12/20

My family and I were hoping to spend Christmas and New Year in the North with loved ones but the pandemic sadly changed that plan; and only three of us will gather together in Salisbury. Are we disappointed, yes, devastated, no.

Please spare a thought for service personnel who are deployed across the globe on operations and those closer to home on today’s front line as part of the COVID Support Force.  For those of you who are not able to take time off over the holidays, please stay safe, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We may not be able to spend Christmas with all the people we love but Christmas is still Christmas. Christ was born to show a vision of peace, a vision of humanity loving one another that is as relevant now as it was when he first proclaimed it 2000 years ago.

Have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.

UBIQUE
