The Royal Artillery Association has been approached by Wild Pictures a TV production company. They are making a history series for Channel 4 called 'My Grandparents' War'.

A new episode follows a young officer in 23rd Field Regiment who saw action in Italy in 1943-45. He landed at Salerno, was heavily involved in the Battle of Monte Casino, took part in the push to Rome and Florence and ended the war in Padua.   In order to tell his story, Wild Pictures are trying to trace veterans who he may have served alongside, or their family members to help provide insight into what life was really like during this crucial time. They are interested in their family memories and also tracking down any letters, diaries, memoirs or photographs of the campaign.
