Local Gunner to Run the Jurassic Coastline for the RAA...

Posted 09/03/15

My name is Abraham Day and I'm a bombardier from 47th Regt RA, I have served for 7 years so far and completed 3 tours of Afghanistan.

I joined the RA in my father’s footsteps and also my grandmothers. My father was a gunner in 50 RA and I believe my grandmother was an aircraft spotter during WW2.

I have decided to run my next challenge for the RAA as it is a charity and organisation close to my heart and home. I'm running 8 miles over the Jurassic Coast with 16kg weight. I am running with my brother in law Carl Kirby who will be my support / camera for the run.

My target is to reach £400 as this time last year I managed to reach the same amount for the ABF running the same race but 34.1 miles without weight. I have ran many different marathons/races including the Bataan memorial death march in New Mexico USA.

I would greatly appreciate any donations for a great charity and a great cause.
