It is that time of year gain when we all remember why we have the freedom we do. We think about the thousands of men and women that bravely gave their today for our tomorrow. We at the Royal Artillery Association and the Royal Regiment will all remember with pride those that sacrificed so much to ensure our way of life.
The Regimental Family gathered at the National Memorial Arboretum for their annual Service of Remembrance. The clouds and rain did not deter them from paying their respects and gathering en masse. We were joined by a record number of standard bearers, inclduing the standard from Ypes. It was a moving ceremony with a rousing band concert from the 103 Lancashire Artillery Band and their Pipes and Drums.
