Rain may have stopped racing – including the historic Royal Artillery Gold Cup – but it won’t stop the Gunner family.
The Sandown Gathering will go ahead this Thursday, 19th February 2026 at Sandown Park Racecourse. All Regiments will be represented, the Master Gunner’s reception continues, Surrey Hall will be full of our serving and veteran community and we’ll be entertained by the superb 19th Regiment Royal Artillery – The Scottish Gunners Pipes and Drums.
Facilities remain open (including the TOTE for live UK racing elsewhere).
Sandown Park will refund already-purchased tickets as there will be no entry fee for the Gold Cup Gunner Gathering.
