Rain may have stopped racing – including the historic Royal Artillery Gold Cup – but it didn’t stop the Gunner family.
The Sandown Gathering continued as planned Thursday, 19th February 2026 at Sandown Park Racecourse. All Regiments were represented, the Master Gunner’s reception went ahead, Surrey Hall was full of our serving and veteran community and we were brilliantly entertained by the superb 19th Regiment Royal Artillery – The Scottish Gunners – Pipes and Drums.
Live TOTE racing from elsewhere in the UK meant we got to see some action at least!
